Updating Highway Code, reviewing Traffic Laws, Traffic Safety Provisions, and Motor Vehicle Laws/Rules, and coordinating with government and private agencies.
Monitoring and evaluation of transport projects, issuance of road permits, fare/freight regulation, vehicle exemptions, and compensation in accidents.
Operation of Pak-Afghan Bus Service, Mass Transit System, maintenance of bus stands, route classification, settlement of disputes, and attracting private investment.
